It's over!
Done with jury duty and justice was served. It was a good experience but I am so glad it's over. If you are ever able to serve on a jury, do it. I truely do feel that it was a priveledge, a hardship, yes, but a priveledge nonetheless. I have learned through this experience that our justice system is pretty good. It was not an easy decision but we had a great jury that wanted to be thorough and fair, and boy were we! We deliberated 2 full days and then some! I feel very comfortable with the decision we came to, but it was still difficult and sad. I am grateful to have been born into the situation and location I was. I am grateful for parents that were educated well enough to teach me some important morals that I feel the defendant was probably not taught. It's a sad cycle. My heart really does go out to him and others in similar situations. Anyway, it's back to life! Tyler, you will now always find spoons in the drawer. Thank you to all who helped these past few weeks, and all who were willing to help. Yolawnda, Morgan and Sandy, and of course Tyler, biggest thanks to you for all of the childcare provided, I could not have done it without you!!!

Eye yai yeye!
Ha, not sure how to even begin to spell that really. I am still here, sorta. I am still serving on a jury in which I thought we'de be done today, but we weren't. It's back at it tomorrow. Anyhow, I sympathize with all you working mom's out there. This stinks. I miss my babies. Ty told me that for the first time since we've been married he went to get a spoon from the drawer and there were none. Micah ran out of undies a few days ago and had to wear Jacob's. I am somewhat caught up on the laundry now, and we do have clean dishes, they are just kept in the dishwasher for now:)
I am enjoying my experience serving on a jury and have met some truly neat people, but I know that my place is in my home taking care of my family. I am grateful for this time I've had away as it has really helped me appreciate what a blessing it is to be a stay at home mom!
