Eye yai yeye!

Ha, not sure how to even begin to spell that really. I am still here, sorta. I am still serving on a jury in which I thought we'de be done today, but we weren't. It's back at it tomorrow. Anyhow, I sympathize with all you working mom's out there. This stinks. I miss my babies. Ty told me that for the first time since we've been married he went to get a spoon from the drawer and there were none. Micah ran out of undies a few days ago and had to wear Jacob's. I am somewhat caught up on the laundry now, and we do have clean dishes, they are just kept in the dishwasher for now:)
I am enjoying my experience serving on a jury and have met some truly neat people, but I know that my place is in my home taking care of my family. I am grateful for this time I've had away as it has really helped me appreciate what a blessing it is to be a stay at home mom!

Wow, they picked you for jury duty? It always amazes me that they pick stay at home moms, when they are the ones that have to do SO MUCH coordinating of family stuff in order to be there to be on a jury. I was grateful when I didn't get picked this year, even though I think it WOULD be cool to get to be part of the whole judicial process at some point. Being a mom is awesome. I think that's why I enjoy my short little 1 shift a week at work stuff. It reminds me what is most important in my life and grateful that I get to be home with my kiddos full time! You're so great Kelly--I love the spoon part...I SO WISH Adam hasn't ever had that experience, but my being home or not...it happens on occasion!:) Hopefully someday I can be the housekeeper you are!:)

Oh I hear you. There is no place like home, especially when you have little people who need their Mom. Hopefully it won't last much longer...

I guess it is an experience! Maybe I need to bring pizza and ice cream...just say the word!! hope your civic duty is over soon. Isn't it amazing that there are rooms full of people that don't mind being there...and the ones that really can't, HAVE to. crazy system!

Does that mean Tyler will start doing the dishes and laundry more often;) I've never served on a jury and with Justin's job I think he told me they won't ever call me now.

I'm suprised you didn't get out of it because of the fact that you are the "caregiver" for your children. I got out of it last year because of that! Oh and I love your post about the piles. I myself am actually a pile person, but just not right next to the bed. My husband does have some clean clothes piled up by the bed right now, and a book! It kinda eerks me too!
