Before, well, kind of before. At this point he has had an expander on the bottom and one on the top. The expander on the bottom did a nice job of making lots more space up top, spreading his top two front teeth apart.
During, we got a kick out of this thing, I should have gotten a better picture, one of him sitting up, it looked too funny.

What a cute, happy boy!
Yes! Kelly I totally thought of your post when they told me I had Kidney Stones, although I was so doped up on Morphine by then that I couldn't remember WHO'S blog I had read about it on. But I told Peter that one of my friends was taken to the hospital in an ambulance and it ended up being kidney stones. About an hour later I remembered that it was you. I am SO SORRY that you had to go through that! Peter asked me several times if we needed to call an ambulance but I told him that if we did we'd have to wait and if he took me we could leave right then. So we didn't call one but almost did! It's MISERABLE! And scary when you have no idea what is going on!
I can't believe you took that picture of him in the ortho's chair! It is totally funny. We can't wait to see the end result.
